The contribution of Alumni Association to the institution:
CTIMIT is a co-educational institution affiliated with I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University. The institute follows the guidelines provided by the AICTE, UGC, and I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University.

The mighty contribution of The Alumni Association/Chapters (registered and functional)-

It contributes significantly to the development of the institution through financial and other support services. The Institute has a registered Alumni Association for building strong bond between alumni and present students. The alumni give support to the students through interaction, financial funding, guidance, and placement. The Alumni Association of the Institute is called Alumni association of CTIMIT. This was registered under society registration act XXI of 1860 and as amended by Punjab Amendment Act 1957. The office headquarters of alumni association of CTIMIT is in the department of CCPC, which is in the premises of CT group of institutions, Maqsudan Campus. The mission of the Alumni Association is to foster a mutually beneficial relationship between the Institute and its alumni.

Objectives of the Alumni Association:
  1. To encourage and promote close relations between the Institution and its alumni and among the alumni themselves.
  2. To promote and encourage friendly relations between all members of the alumni body, an interest in the affairs and well-being of the Institution.
  3. To encourage and support a spirit of community amongst members and to promote opportunities for the members to retain association with each other and the university.
  4. To maintain, develop and foster loyalty towards the university amongst the members and potential members.
  5. To make our alumni community vibrant & socially responsible and to assist CTIMIT to be visible at world map.
  6. To provide and disseminate information regarding their Alma Matter, its graduates, Faculties, and students, to the alumni.
  7. To initiate and develop programs for the benefit of the alumni.
  8. To assist and supporting the efforts of the Institution in obtaining funds for development.
  9. To serve as a forum through which alumni may support and advance the pursuit of academic excellence at the Institution.
  10. To guide and assist alumni who have recently completed their courses to obtain employment and engage in productive pursuits useful to society.
  11. To organize and co-ordinate reunion activities of the Alumni and let the Alumni acknowledge their gratitude to their Alma Matter.
  12. To collect, publish and distribute such information as may be useful to the alumni and their Alma Mater.
Activities and Contributions:
  • Alumni have donated funds to assist the Poor & Merit students of the Institution.
  • Alumni are included as members in the Board of studies of all departments. They are invited for meetings at the college and they interact with their teachers and express their suggestions on curriculum revision.
  • Few Alumni gave Guest lecturers to the existing students on some contemporary technological developments and career guiding focuses.

Alumni meets are arranged in 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23.

Once a CTian, always a CTian. CTians are in the league of successful alumni members working in top organizations across the world. Stay connected, be informed, and get involved through the CT Alumni Association (CTAA). We desire to take our relationship with esteemed alma mater to a completely new dimension of bonding, collaboration, and transformation. The CTAA aims to reconnect graduates through Alumni events and to support the further development of alma mater for a new era of CTians. The CT Alumni Association (CTAA) was established by the institute in 2017 with a purpose to promote the welfare of the college by building a mutually beneficial relationship between the Institute and its growing worldwide community of alumni. This association organizes various alumni meets to felicitate the achievements of alumni. It also addresses (career related needs and passion for lifelong learning and engagement, social interactions, and willingness to bring all our Alumni on one platform to create a global group of CTians. We at CT Group of Institutions are working towards creating opportunities to network, share nostalgic moments, help your juniors and be partner in the growth of your Alma Mater

Mission:

Future Activities in Pipeline:
  1. To establish a common Alumni Association involving all the former students as members of the association.
  2. To establish departmental Alumni Associations inviting all the alma mater of the departments.
  3. To confer the Distinguished Alumna Award to the illustrious alumni in the campus.
  4. Involve Alma mater in the University Foundation Day celebrations.

The Alumni Association of CTIMIT was first created in the year 2007 to develop a strong relationship between the alumni and the University for achieving excellence in academics and research. Over the years, the University has made phenomenal academic growth and is presently recognised as “University with Potential for Excellence” by University Grants Commission. The University Alumni have distinguished themselves through their commitment to their respective professions in a wide variety of disciplines. The knowledge and skills of the alumni can make a big difference in helping build a more vibrant CTIMIT. The association aims at better interactions between the alumni and students by providing forums and creating opportunities for such interactions. The alumni can interact with the faculty and the students, share their experiences, and aid in academics, placements etc.
The Alumni can also help the underprivileged students of the University by providing financial assistance in terms of Scholarship to poor students, distinguished lecture series, research projects and infrastructure developments like Hostels, Alumni Guest House, Sports Fund, Extension Activities etc. and even for the social cause like helping the Marginalized Kids.
