Welcome to CTIMIT
CT Institute of Management & IT, Jalandhar got established in year 2001 by the CT Educational Society with the objective of creating leading Research and Development facilities in the field of Management & IT. The institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. The institute currently offers regular 09 UG programmes in various disciplines of engineering and 03 PG programme in various disciplines of Management & Computer Applications. The admissions to the various UG/PG programmes at CTIMIT are offered as per the eligibility criterion laid down by PTU. One third strength of the students in the first year of the course is by direct selection under the Management quota, while remaining seats are filled up by the University based on the counselling scheduled by the university.
Nature of Governance
- Governing Body: CTIMIT has a governing body or management committee responsible for overseeing the overall administration and functioning of the institute.
- Leadership: The institute has a director who acts as the academic and administrative head. They are responsible for implementing policies, managing faculty and staff, coordinating academic programs, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the institute.

- Board of Studies: The institute has separate Boards of Studies for different disciplines or departments. These boards consist of subject experts, faculty members, and industry representatives. They are responsible for, recommending teaching methodologies, and ensuring the quality and relevance of academic programs.
- Faculty and Staff: CTIMIT has a team of qualified faculty members appointed as per the norms of AICTE, UGC, and the affiliating university. The institute also employs supporting staff members responsible for various administrative and technical functions.
- Committees: CTIMIT has various committees, such as the Examination Committee, Admission Committee, Anti-Ragging Committee, Grievance Redressal Committee, and others. These committees help in the effective implementation of policies, addressing specific issues, and maintaining a conducive learning environment.
